O'SHEA NAMED GENERAL MANAGER OF TRIAD OUTDOOR MARKET
Augusta,
Ga. - Daniel B. O'Shea has been named general manager of
the Triad market of Fairway Outdoor Advertising, a division
of Morris Communica-
tions. The market serves Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem,
N.C., from the Fairway office in Greensboro.
O'Shea, a 22-year veteran of the
outdoor advertis-
ing business, was previously national creative director for
Fairway and was located at the home office in Augusta. He began
his career with Naegele Outdoor Advertising in 1980 and joined
Morris upon its acquisi-
tion of Naegele in 1985. At that time, O'Shea was serving as
national creative director for the 15 companies of the Naegele
group.
As an active member of the Outdoor
Advertising Association of America (OAAA), O'Shea has served
in several leadership roles for the industry and was named to
the prestigious OAAA Hall of Fame in 2002. He is a past governor
of OAAA Region II, which encompasses seven states in the Southeast,
and was recently named to the 2003 judges' panel for the industry's
OBIE awards. He also has received numerous local, regional and
national awards for creative marketing and design.
